Ms. Sofian is available to conduct workshops on any aspect of danse orientale ranging from master classes on the development of technique to choreography for the stage to specific workshops geared toward the exploration of the many elements and styles that encompass this rich dance form.  She combines a unique ability to present the essence of the dance while encouraging individual expression within the framework of the genre.   All workshops can be adapted to each group's level and needs.  

Ms. Sofian also specializes in the Solo Dance of Armenian women and has given numerous lecture/demonstrations at the Museum of Natural History and the Anthropology Museum of the People of New York at Queens College.  Her workshops on this lyrical dance form include adaptation of it's exquisite hand and arm movements for the oriental dance.
